Madison County is a place that celebrates its rich heritage in arts and music. We celebrate this history and future through special events. You can catch authentic mountain music every week at some of the local stomping grounds and festivals scattered throughout the year.  Our community of musicians stems from a heritage from Bascom Lamar Lunsford (who was raised here) and his tradition in mountain music.
